IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR MEDICARE PATIENTS
Effective July 15, 2007, the office of Michael G. McNamara, M.D. LLC, more commonly known as Alaska Hand-Elbow-Shoulder, will no longer accept Medicare Part B insurance.
This does not mean that we can not provide care to you, a Medicare Beneficiary. It does mean that we will have to enter into a Medicare Private Contract and that we can not bill Medicare for services that are provided to you, nor can you submit your bill to Medicare.
This decision is based on the increasing requirements and regulations placed on us, as providers by the federal government. The administrative burden of providing care to you, as a Medicare patient, does not fit our model of high level medical care.
